The new state mandate requiring masks in all indoor public spaces starts Friday, August 13. That means that all staff and customers age five and older must be wearing masks when at Kick City. However, OHA included an exception for “playing a competitive sport at any level.” OSHA has confirmed to us that this means players will be allowed to remove their masks when actively playing in league games. Players must wear a mask when they are off the field in the players boxes. Masks may also be removed when eating or drinking in the pub. Outside of those two exceptions, everyone must be wearing a mask when in the building regardless of vaccination status.
There is no exemption for Lil’ Kickers, so everyone age five and older must wear a mask during Lil’ Kickers classes.
We appreciate your cooperation with these new regulations.

On January 14th, we were honored to have the Portland Timbers come to Kick City to host a clinic for kids ages 5 to 13. The kids were all here early sporting their soccer gear and huge smiles on their faces. Many were very excited to meet the players, others were excited to meet Timber Joey and many parents were just as excited as their kids! The day went great, the kids learned lots and we can’t wait for next year!
We are also very excited about the 2012 MLS season which through our great relationship with the Portland Timbers we will be able to offer group tickets to our outstanding customers! Make sure you watch your emails and our facebook page over the next few months! We will also be hosting numerous events at Kick City in which you will get the chance to win Timbers Tickets.

April 14th was a big day for Oregon Soccer. The Portland Timbers had their first home game of the season and the State of Oregon declared it Timbers Day! If you were there in person to witness the Timbers Army singing the National Anthem then you truly understand what a memorable experience it was. We were lucky enough to attend and be a part of the Timbers Experience. We tried to capture as much as we could to share with our fans and patrons. You can watch footage and check out our pictures at Timbers Home Opener
If you have the chance to go to a game, DO IT! You will love it and quickly be transformed into a Timbers Fan. I went into the game a true Sounders fan from growing up in Seattle but quickly realized that the Sounders games are nothing compared to the Timbers games. Being there and witnessing the Timbers Army with all their crazy chants and antics makes the Timbers who they are and makes going to a game truly an enjoyable experience.
The renovated stadium looks awesome and it is super easy to get to by all forms of transportation. After the game the Timbers players even went up into the stands with the Army to receive their log pieces which was amazing on a lot of levels, to see professional athletes wanting to be with their fans and supporters and to see the love that the fans have for this new team!
We hope that you take part in this once in a lifetime experience of going to a game in the Timbers first MLS season. We are even providing buses and tickets to the game on June 19th. The June 19th bus is only $15 (tix bought separate) that’s cheaper then parking and gas combined. To purchase just give us a call or stop by the front desk. We want to do everything possible to make sure our customers have as great of an experience at a Timbers game like we did!
Go Timbers!
